If you’ve ever been flamed, trolled, or rage quit because of online toxicity, you’re not alone
That’s why SAYS Tech and MyGameOn have teamed up to launch Rileks Je, Takyah Toksik, a new awareness campaign that tackles cyberbullying and promotes mental wellness in the Malaysian gaming community.
It’s more than just a tagline. The campaign invites gamers, streamers, and fans to share their experiences with online toxicity — anonymously and safely — through a dedicated platform.
Whether it’s that one teammate who wouldn’t stop spamming insults, or the time someone made you feel unwelcome just for being different, your story matters.
Share your story or read from others on this website.
Beyond that, the campaign includes a series of original content
You can look forward to interviews with experts, articles that dig into the impact of cyberbullying, and videos highlighting mental health in gaming culture. It’s all about giving people the tools and support they need to protect their peace while doing what they love.
“In the gaming industry, cyberbullying is often associated with professional players, streamers, and especially targeted towards women,” said Hazril Nor, editor at MyGameOn. “Through this campaign, their voices can be amplified and their stories can help build a more inclusive and positive gaming community.”
Sukhbir Cheema, Tech Lead at SAYS, added: “Mental wellness is incredibly important to us, and we’ve personally experienced how gaming can help reduce stress. Through this campaign, we aim to return to the heart of why we game: to have fun and to connect with others.”
In the coming weeks, the campaign will also head offline with an on-ground event designed to bring gamers together IRL, in a safe, supportive, and positive environment. So, keep an eye out for that!
Ultimately, Rileks Je, Takyah Toksik is more than just a vibe. It’s a movement to pause the hate, and press play on empathy.
Keep an eye on MyGameOn and SAYS Tech for updates — and if you’ve got a story to share, you know where to go.
