Ever wanted to get drunk and get some Taco Bell late at night just like in the movies? Well Thai people, you're in for a treat.
That's right, the famous Mexican fast food joint is coming to Thailand and will be officially opening their first store on January 24th, 2019.
This is not the first time they penetrated this side of the Asean region. In 1999, Taco Bell launched its first Southeast Asian store in Singapore. However, after 9 years they closed their doors permanently.
Next, they tried their hands at the Philippines market by opening the country's first store in 2004 at the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
Followed by another branch at the TriNoma mall in Quezon City as well.
In June 2018, Thoresen Thai Agencies who operates Pizza Hut in Thailand announced that they will be obtaining the license to Taco Bell in the fourth quarter of 2018.
On Christmas Day, Taco Bell Thailand's Facebook page announced the launch date of the first Thai store:
