There's a new trend currently making its round on the internet. Everyone is praying for a dude named Nesamani.
Who the hell is he and why is he so important?
To begin, we have to go to a Pakistani Facebook page: Civil Engineering Learners.
On May 27, the page had uploaded an image of a hammer with the caption: What is the name of the tool in your country?
A user from India had famously replied that the tool is called Suthiyal in the Tamil language and that "contractor Nesamani's head was broken... with it".
Another user then asked if Nesamani was alright and just like that, the thread took off with many beginning to use the hashtag #Pray_for_Neasamani #Nesamani
The comment is actually a reference to an extremely hilarious scene from a 2001 Tamil film, Friends.
In it, Contractor Nesamani played by Vadivelu, has his head hit by a falling hammer - no thanks to his incompetent assistant.

It is his reaction following the hammer hitting his head that has led to the current internet storm of many "praying" for his recovery.

Nesamani has taken over the world so much so some mischievous folks began photoshopping Twitter handles of world leaders.

What does the actor who played the famous character has to say about all of these? Turns out, Vadivelu is not aware of the internet storm.
