Wanna make Muah Chee at home? All you need is a rice cooker.

Meet Leslie Koh, the hero we didn't deserve, but so desperately needed in this challenging social distancing age.

The Singaporean recently shared an easy-to-make recipe for those who're craving for some Muah Chee on Facebook.

Also known as Mochi, these cute, soft, and yummy glutinous rice balls are apparently very easy to make.

With Singapore under Circuit Breaker mode until May 4, Koh admitted that he's been craving for these delectables which are often found in the country's night markets.

"With the current situation, it will be quite some time before we can see/visit a Pasar Malam (Night Market). Here’s my version of muah chee so that the #RiceCookerMan can bring the pasar malam to your house instead," he posted on Facebook, adding that it's one of his favorite foods.

Here's how to make your own Muah Chee.

Step 1.

You only need 2 ingredients: Rice flour and peanut powder. Pour 2 cups of rice flour into a bowl. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 2.

Next, add 2 cups of water and stir well. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 3.

Oil the pot and pour in the mixture. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 4.

Begin cooking for about 6 minutes. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 5.

Cook for an additional 3 minutes until the mixture turns into a dough. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 6.

Once it's cooked, add in a teaspoon of sesame oil. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 7.

Pour in half of the peanut powder, add sugar, and mix it well. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

Step 8.

Cut out the dough into your preferred size and toss it around the peanut powder mix. IMAGE: Leslie Koh / Facebook.

That's all! In 8 easy steps you've got yourself some yummy Muah Chee. Best part, the same method can be used with sesame seeds as well.
