A bridal shop was in for a surprise when a customer went through their shop ripping apart a number of their dresses after they refused to return her deposit money on a canceled order.
The customer, known as Jiang, used a pair of scissors to cut the dresses at the shop in Chongqing, China. She ruined 32 wedding dresses in total, amounting to at least 69,885 yuan (US$11,000).

Jiang can be seen destroying the dresses in a video that went viral on Weibo, a popular microblogging website in China.

It was reported that the shop would not return her deposit of 3,494 yuan (US$550) for a 7,941 yuan (US$1,250) wedding package she had canceled. She had asked for a full refund including her deposit. Furious at the refusal, she began snipping away at the wedding dresses and silk robes, including an ornate red-and-gold traditional Chinese wedding gown featured on a mannequin, costing a whopping 10,000 yuan (US$1,574).
It is unknown who the person behind the camera was, but they can be heard saying: "Think clearly. These dresses cost several thousands of yuan."
Still irked, the woman retorted, "Thousands? Even if it's several ten-thousands, that's fine," as she continued to get at the dresses.
The bridal shop's manager explained to Chinese media outlet Sohu that they have a policy of not refunding advanced payments. However, they did offer to help the woman cater for a child's birthday celebration, seeing as the woman was allegedly expecting.
The police detained Jiang upon arrival, and she has since apologized. Her husband offered to pay compensation for the incident, though not enough to cover the whole damage.
