A Reddit user by the username u/prolix_verbosity uploaded a similar video of a mama pangolin with its baby on its tail.
This pangolin duo wa also aimlessly trudging down streets at night. The roads seemed to be empty as the mama pangolin strutted casually in the middle of the road.
Concerned netizens.
Despite netizens cooing over the adorable moment, some of them were wary of the distance between the OP and the pangolins.
One user expressed worry over the pangolins' location being revealed, worried poachers would track the animals down.

Their concerns are valid. Pangolins are known to be an endangered species.
According to National Geographic, tens of thousands of pangolins are poached every year and killed for their scales and meat.
The scales are desired for use in traditional Chinese medicine whereas their meat has turned into a delicacy among some elite people in China and Vietnam. Pangolin skins are processed into leather products like boots, belts, and bags.
