Mashable Southeast Asia alongside sister publications SAYS, Seismik, and JUICE are now seeking individuals to become ambassadors for their new collaborative inclusive beauty campaign which will celebrate the beauty of diversity in all its forms.
Currently, Malaysians of all ages, genders, ethnicities, skin tones, sizes, and body types are encouraged to apply, and it doesn't matter even if they have existing medical/skin conditions or disabilities.
Signups are currently open and will run until June 10, 2023, and participants will be given the opportunity to share their own views on beauty, tell their personal stories, and become influential movers in the context of inclusivity for every single person.

Those selected will be featured on the four platforms mentioned above, and will be highlighted through interviews, photos, videos, as well as get the opportunity to be featured on a billboard in busy Kuala Lumpur.
This initiative comes amid a growing global push within the beauty industry to become more inclusive and welcoming towards people from all backgrounds, races, genders, and abilities, and the end objective is to simply challenge the traditional (read "outdated") beauty standards that we've become accustomed to.
"Inclusive beauty is the antithesis of archaic beauty standards that continue to harm and confine people to society-approved boxes," said Nandini, Video Lead at SAYS.
"I hope this campaign can spark important conversations and active changes that will make all spaces truly inclusive and representative of reality."
Right now, anyone interested in the campaign can visit an exclusive landing page on the SAYS website, where visitors can find engaging content such as exclusive interviews with experts, thought-provoking articles, videos, and much more.
Simultaneously, visitors will be able to gain new perspectives and outlooks as well as attune themselves with the latest trends in the beauty and fashion industries.
“We are excited to create a space where people can come together to celebrate and appreciate beauty in every individual,” said Laila Zain, Head of English Network at REV Media Group. “We’re not talking about ‘inner beauty’. We’re saying, loud and proud, we are all beautiful, and deserve to be beautiful, because of our skin tones, body type, haircut, style choice, and so forth."

“We believe in inclusiveness and representation for all. Our collaboration is about recognizing the lesser-known aspects that make us special. Being who you are rather than conforming to beauty standards is what ultimately makes a person cool,” said JUICE Team Lead, Ben Liew.
“Through our collaboration with SAYS, JUICE, and Seismik, we're aiming to redefine people's perspective on beauty, specifically in Southeast Asia.
